The Crimson Peels project has accompanied the Workshop for the past two years, creating new and fascinating encounters between the art of printmaking and the artistic practice of each of the seven women artists taking part in the exhibition – Jenifer Bar Lev, Rakefet Viner-Omer, Noa Sadka, Nomi Tannhauser, Orna Bromberg, Nomi Bruckmann, and Hilla Ben Ari. The idea to offer artists exploring the concept of the female body the
opportunity to experiment with the print medium, in its variety of forms, was proposed by Nomi Tannhauser, the project’s curator. Arik Kilemnik, the Workshop’s director, embraced her curatorial initiative and enlisted the entire Workshop to the cause.
